It was a delightful and intimate group for this watercolour workshop, beautifully organised by Kasia J. Siuda in the charming city of Gdańsk. The experience was both joyful and deeply satisfying. We began by painting a simple village scene to familiarise ourselves with the basics, before moving on to a more intricate waterfront view from the heart of Gdańsk.
The workshop was held alongside the prestigious Step by Step International Watercolour Festival, curated by Julia Kochetova. My stay at the elegant Arche Dwór Uphagena Gdańsk added to the experience, offering comfort and old-world charm. The trip was filled with wonderful moments – meeting and connecting with talented European artists, exploring picturesque villages, and creating countless memories that will stay with me for a lifetime.
