I recently had the pleasure of leading a two-day workshop in the heart of Kraków, Poland, in collaboration with Aga Moleda Orella and Adesso Creative Space. On the first day, we explored the fundamentals of perspective, lighting, and my approach to sketching. Participants then put these ideas into practice by painting a vibrant scene from Venice.
The second day took us outdoors for a plein air session at the Main Market Square, where we painted a beautiful church under perfect weather conditions. Painting on location brings a very different energy compared to working from a reference image, and it was truly rewarding to see each participant capture the spirit of the place with such impressive results.
